Our process
We are trained through the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps and use the best tools and a thorough process to leave your property clean and tidy after a visit.
We include a check of the safety of the installation, sweep with HEPA filtered vacuum systems to ensure that no fine soot and dust escapes into your property.
On completion of work we will provide a dated certificate of sweeping noting what build up has been removed from the flue and any potential future issues with the safety of the system.
Booking your sweep
We have regular rounds in Weardale and the surrounding areas where Chris is based, offering availability midweek and weekends. We also service the Sheffield and Liverpool areas, although less frequently.
It can sometimes be difficult to arrange household work around work and childcare commitments, and as such we offer weekend and school holiday availability, as well as one off appointments if no other options are suitable.
Before our arrival, you will be given an estimated time slot, and we will keep you updated on the day should any changes arise.
Us
Before setting up Clean Sweep, Chris was a software developer but had an urge to be more useful, and Fred* is a retired professional athlete so has taken on a management role within the company. *Only attends sweeps on request.
Based in the heart of Weardale, when not sweeping they can be found out on the moors in all weathers, much to Freds disappointment.
